2009 Fitchburg Longsjo Classic

The 2009 Fitchburg Longsjo Classic is scheduled for July 2 to July 5. MARA has been supporting this event continuously with communications assistance since 1997.

We are asked to field communications teams for days 3 and 4 of the four-day event; the Wachusett Mountain Road Race on Saturday and the Downtown Criterium on Sunday.

The radio operators briefing materials are:

NB: Saturday volunteers should meet in front of the Wachusett Mountain ski lodge at 07:30. Be prepared for a 10 hour day. We'll be fed lunch and the water van will make it around as often as it can but you should have your own water and snacks if you want them.

Sunday volunteers should meet at the corner of Grove St. and Main St. in Fitchburg at 07:45. Be prepared for a 10 hour day. You will get lunch and water.
